SAINT PATRICK'S DAY PARADE IN DOGTOWN
SATURDAY MARCH 17, 2018

HISTORY

The Ancient Order of Hibernians has sponsored this parade since 1984 - it is always held on St Patrick's Day - to read about the origins of this parade click.

The parade is a family oriented tradition of honoring St. Patrick. It takes place in the Dogtown region of St. Louis City - with the majority of the parade route being Tamm ATV Interview regarding the AOH Parade

THE PARADE AND EVENTS SURROUNDING

2018 BRINGS CHANGES TO THE ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE IN DOGTOWN

The Hiberninan St Patrick's Day Parade is always held on March 17 - St Patrick's Day.

Parade Time: 10:00AM - NEW TIME
Parade Route: Starts at Tamm & Oakland - ends at Tamm & Manchester
Grand Marshall: Brian McKenna ( former St Louis sports-talk radio host)

The Bi-State Buses are re-routed in the region during the parade - CLICK here for bus route changes

Don't have a designated driver? - there is a Taxi/Uber are where you can get a ride to or from the festival. CLICK for map of where to find the Taxi/Uber area.

This event is part of our St Patrick's day celebration which features an AOH ceremony honoring law enforcement, firemen, and local leaders as well as some great Irish music and Irish dancers -
open to the public - donations at the door

Increased Security and Traffic Controls in Place for 2018 Parade

 

ADOPT-A-BARRICADE

Get a banner for your group or clan to display along the parade . A great way to participate in the parade is to adopt a barricade along the parade route - this helps us defray the costs of the parade and you get to take home a heavy duty color vinyl banner. CLICK for application form.

GETTING INTO THE PARADE

Every year we get many requests to enter a float or group in the parade. The size of the parade is limited by the city. We give preference to those who have particitpated in the past. As a result there is a waiting list.
