This event is part of our St Patrick's day celebration which features an AOH ceremony honoring law enforcement, firemen, and local leaders as well as some great Irish music and Irish dancers -
open to the public - donations at the door

HISTORY of the HIBERNIAN ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE

The Ancient Order of Hibernians has sponsored this parade since 1984 - it is always held on St Patrick's Day - to read about the origins of this parade click.

The parade is a family oriented tradition of honoring St. Patrick. It takes place in the Dogtown region of St. Louis City - with the majority of the parade route being Tamm ATV Interview regarding the AOH Parade

2019 ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE and FESTIVAL IN DOGTOWN

The Hiberninan St Patrick's Day Parade is always held on March 17 - St Patrick's Day.

Parade Time: 11:00AM - NEW TIME
Parade Route: Starts at Tamm & Oakland - ends at Tamm & Manchester
Grand Marshall: Bob McCulloch
Festival: All outdoor events and sales close at 6:00PM

COOLERS & BACKPACKS WILL NOT ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE PARADE AND FESTIVAL - Increased Security and Traffic Controls in Place for 2019 Parade - Click for Details

GETTING INTO THE PARADE

Every year we get many requests to enter a float or group in the parade. The size of the parade is limited by the city. We give preference to those who have particitpated in the past. As a result there is a waiting list.
